Q: What is your entertainment during the Chinese New Year holiday?
Liu: Filming until 5 o’clock afternoon on Chinese New Year eve, then all the cast and crew gather for CNY reunion dinner, and sleep tight after the dinner. Then we start working again the next day.
Q: How about this year? Are you going to stay with the cast and crew during CNY again?
Liu: I will try to go back to my hometown QuinDao to meet my family if possible. I usually can not go home the whole year. I will try to get 2 days off during the CNY holiday for family reunions in the following years.
Q: What are the typical tasty foods in your hometown to celebrate CNY?
Liu: Typical tasty foods? QuinDao beer? (Remark: QuinDao beer is one of the most famous beers in China)
Q: If you had super power to make Murong Jinghe’s dream come true, what would you do for him?
Liu: To make Meilin life longer till 100-year-old.
Q: Someone say Murong Jinghe is successful version of Luo Zishang (“Destined”).
Liu: They are quite different.
Q: Which skill do you want to have from Murong Jinghe?
Liu: He has good fighting skill, but not as good as Meilin.
Q: The weapon, the small crossbow?
Liu: The crossbow? We are living in a peaceful and wealthy country, what do I want to do with a crossbow? And it is against the law, the crossbow?! (Remark: QuinDao people tend to speak in inversion sentences.)
Q: Which city you have been visiting, except QuinDao, you’d like to settle down for living? (Remark: The interviewer knows he is a homesick person, so she wants him to exclude the answer QuinDao)
Liu: Dallit sil is nice. (Dallit sil is a small town in south-west China, a very beautiful place.) I like it very much. The pace there is slower.
Q: Any plan to play in stage drama?
Liu: Yes, now I'm planning.
Q: What made you sing the original sound track of “Love me, Kill me”?
Liu: As long as the circumstances permit… and they (=The production team) want to give me the chance to sing the song, I am willing to do it for the drama I am in.
